Thanksgiving Day 16 - Genesis 3:4-6

'And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. Want to know what I am thankful for today?  Truth!  What is truth?  Does it mean something different to different people?  That is not the truth I am talking about.  If you believe that a truth is a lie, that does not change the fact that it is true.  Pilate asked this question a long time ago. What is truth?  He walked away after he asked it.  He did not want to know the answer.

'Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. '

John 18:38

Here is what Jesus was talking to him about.  He was testifying of the truth that He is our salvation!

If you don't know Him, I would be honored to introduce you to Him.

'Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. '

John 18:37

Here is a video that attempts to give an introduction to Jesus.  It is pretty good but Jesus is better than even what this video describes!
