Jesus is worthy!  He is the only one that could have died to pay for the sins of everyone!  It is much better to be able to enjoy being with Jesus in heaven than to have to suffer the consequence that will result in you being in hell forever.  I am so thankful that Jesus pursued me and saved me!  I sinned and was not able to save myself.  The Bible says that nobody pursues after God and that no one is good.  It is God’s mercy that He draws us and saves us in spite of ourselves!

God has revealed Himself to everyone.  He has given each one of us a measure of faith to believe in Him.  In John Piper’s article, he explains that we are to be humble because the gifts that we are given and the faith to use them are both given to us by God, https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/god-has-allotted-to-each-a-measure-of-faith.

God provided the sacrifice to pay for our sins.  We rejected that offer.  God pursued us and with this help, He helps us to become saved if we repent and trust in Jesus alone for our salvation.  When we ask Jesus to forgive us, we are to serve Him as Lord and Savior.  We are to seek to obey Him the rest of our lives.  Jesus helps us to love others like He loves us!  This is a miracle!  What better way to share God’s love than to share how to become a Christian.  Would you like to take a test?  Go to this site:  http://www.needgod.com/

I am glad that when I get to heaven, everything will be new.  Old things will not be remembered and I  think this will help me to focus on Jesus for eternity (I don’t think that will be a problem however).  With God’s help, I will be able to behold my Jesus!  It is so comforting to know that our sins will be wiped away so we can enjoy being in the presence of God!

I have found in my life that when I encounter a problem whether it is sickness, financial, work, or even my sin, I can pray to God and tell Him how bad the situation is and ask Him for help.  BEFORE the help comes, I have in times started praising God for who He is regardless if He chooses to help me or not.  Those times have been so sweet that I am glad that God chose to send me a problem to bring to Him.  God has helped me also with each and every problem that I encountered.  Many times I have had to be patient and wait on Him.  Sometimes, the answer comes before I even speak it.  My God is truly Holy and Awesome!  Thank you God for not giving up on me!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Serve God with everything you have! He is worth it!

I am so thankful that God does not count my sin against me anymore! I am able to be a new creation because of Jesus! This new life is tough sometimes but if we look to Jesus and put Him first, EVERYTHING is better. God will help us through what we are going through. We need to remember to praise God for who He is FIRST and then to praise Him if He decides to bless us or not in the way we think He should. Let’s remain humble and serve God like we should and like He deserves!

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.”

I think of the verse below. God is merciful and will help us no matter what. Why do we trust in other things besides Him? If we get the things God can give us, we have a very small blessing. If we can get God Himself! Oh, what a blessing! Let’s seek His face first and foremost. He does want us to come to Him with our problems but we oftentimes neglect to seek Him. I know I do! Please forgive me Lord!

God loves us very much. He provides a new life for us. We are so depraved that the Bible says that no one is good and we would not even pursue God. He pursues us! Without this pursuit, we would be lost even though God provided the sacrifice of Jesus!
